Two Hearts Become One

I had a funny five minutes the other day, I seem to be having quite a few of these lately!  I made a lovely Wedding/Anniversary DT card for the current challenge at Crafting for all Seasons, unfortunately the challenge theme was Christmas in July - I don't know why I thought is was Weddings!

Anyway this is that card:

I used a Paper Creator set called Two Hearts, as is normal for me, I didn't use the set as it was designed to be used - I did my own thing and cut the image out several times and decoupaged it.  The smaller hearts are from a NitWit collection and the sentiment is from the Paper Creator set.

I decorated the inside of my card using the envelope part of the set layered onto some of the dark brown papers that are also in the set.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Di's Digi Designs Challenge - Weddings/Anniversary/Congratulations
Ooh La La Creations Challenge - For the One You Love

Ding Dong

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and this week our theme is 'Ding Dong Merrily on High', so just add a bell somewhere.  I have used the remaining papers that I made following Jennifer McGuire's fabulous technique from Online Card Classes - this is the last one I promise, well at least for a little while!

I have kept with quite a simple design, the embossed background is a Cuttlebug embossing folder, the bells are mounted onto a circle that has been embossed with another Cuttlebug embossing folder and mounted on to a Spellbinders die cut circle.  The musical notes are a Nina Crafts stamp and the sentiment is a LOTV stamp, I used a Fiskars punch to create the border.

We are sponsored by  Crafter's Companion

who are offering £10 gift voucher to the lucky winner

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I have embossed the white background panel with a Darice embossing folder and punched the bottom with a Fiskars edge punch, the green spotty papers are from the DCWV Nana's Kitchen collection.  A LOTV sentiment, a couple of other Spellbinders die cuts, flower, button and string from my stash complete my card.

Football Nut

It's time for a new challenge at Crafting for all Seasons and we have a Bingo Board for you this week.  I have made a card using a brilliant image called 'Nuts about Sports - soccer' from Bugaboo our sponsor for this challenge.

I have coloured my image with a combination of FlexMarkers and ProMarkers and then masked it to create the cloud background, the card stock is Core'dinations and the papers are Echo Park.  The sentiment that accompanies the image said soccer, so I computer generated one, the star button and twine are from my stash.  I die cut the edge of the green card stock with my Ric Rac border die.

A dog named ROY!

This is the birthday card that I made for my Son who was fifteen recently.

A dog named ROY is a bit of a joke in our family - the boy's in the house would all like to get a dog and my husband has told them that if we do he will call it Roy!  Don't ask me why because I don't have a clue, but I'm sure you can imagine what the boy's think of it.  I have put my foot down and said no dogs whilst we still have a free range chicken in the garden, so we will have to wait and see if we do eventually get a dog named ROY!

I have used this cute image from the DigiStamp Boutique and papers from Echo Park.   I punched the border with a Fiskars edge punch and added some twine and a button.  The sentiment was computer generated and I added a little 3D Crystal Lacquer to his nose and the balloon.

This is the inside of my card decorated to match the front.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The Emerald Faeries Challenge 45 - Happy Birthday
Ladybug Crafts Challenge - Birthdays

Hedge Word

Good morning everyone, I had a great day yesterday.  It was my youngest son's birthday - he was fifteen, my eldest son passed the theory part of his driving test and we have, at long last, found a nursing home for my father.  Dad moves in tomorrow and he will be nice and close to both me and my Mum so hopefully, as soon as he is settled, life will get back to some sort of normality - it will never be quite the same again, but we should at least be able to get back into some sort of routine.

Anyway, as I said, it was my son's birthday and this is the card I made for his brother to give him.

I saw this Penny Black stamp on a blog sometime ago and I just had to get it, I think it's ideal for male cards.  I have coloured the cute little hedgehogs with ProMarkers and used some Echo Park papers that I have had for ages.  The card stock is Core'dinations and I used my Spellbinders Ric Rac die to cut the bottom edge.  The string and button are from my stash.

I have decorated the inside of the card using the same papers and layout as the front.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Come and Get It Challenge - Masculine
Simon Says Stamp &  Show Challenge - Anything Goes
Brown Sugar Challenge 48 - Boy/Man
Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge 107 - Cute as a Button
Hobbycutz Challenge 9 - Anything with 'H' (Hedgehogs)
The Paper Nest Dolls challenge 7  - Animal Love
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anythings Goes, Option: include animals/creatures

Thank you so much for visiting me today.  Hopefully, as soon as we get Dad settled into the nursing home, I will have more time to craft and will be able to come and visit everyone a little more often.
